He is most often depicted as a robed older man holding an hourglass. There are no recorded instances of his manifestation on the Material Plane.

==Worship==

Althyk governs the new year's celebration. Tradition has it that turning over an hourglass at midnight will help him keep the world moving forward.

Althyk's demiplane is unknown, although it is known that he does have one.

Althyk is unrelated to any other god. His rival is [[Rhalgr]], although Rhalgr does not seek Althyk's eradication, merely to test his resolve.

Althyk is said to be the first god, or perhaps a force of the universe, time, given form.

When Althyk dies at the end of time, it is said the War to End All Wars will begin. If the other gods can lay Althyk and the world to rest, it will not become a hellscape of eternal stagnation and entropy. [[Winnehild]]'s role in the end is to lead the heroes of the world's history to battle to buy time for this to happen.
