Schneider is a seahorse of extraplanar origin that serves as Gunther's envoy and main link to the Material Plane. He also serves as [[Zann|Zann's]] familiar, as well as functionally serving as Zann's eyes by allowing Zann to see through his own.

==Personality==
Schneider has a generally impish personality. He tends to make unflattering comments about others (which are never heard by the targets of said comments, since Zann is the only one that can hear Schneider). Schneider also has a slightly cowardly personality, hesitating upon being requested to do anything that could potentially become dangerous.

==Appearance==
Schneider is a small, scraggly seahorse. He has many physical characteristics that make him somewhat resemble a piece of rotted seaweed. Schneider is capable of "swimming" through the air and breathing outside of water, and is therefore unrestricted in mobility.

==History==
Gunther used Schneider to offer Zann's sight back, with Zann promising his "friendship" to Gunther in exchange. Zann agreed, and Gunther linked Zann and Schneider together in a way that allows Zann to see through Schneider's eyes. Schneider has stayed by Zann's side ever since, with the majority of Zann's experiences also applying to Schneider by extension.

Schneider's true name is unpronounceable to known tongues. "Schneider" is simply the closest approximation Zann could come up with.

Schneider, along with the somewhat reoccurring seahorse images that have appeared in the campaign, is the inspiration behind the Band of the Sea Dragon's name
