Oschon is the god of mountains, who wanders the planes. To him, the world is an adventurous place, full of mystery and things to do and try, and he wants to experience it all. He is the patron of rangers, wanderers, and adventurers - those who travel not for duty or business but for love of the open road. His epithets include the Wanderer, the Visitor, and the Mountain Man. Rarely, poetically, he is called Thaliak's Heart.

The walking stick, a simple vertical line with a scrolled top, is his most notable symbol.

Thaliak is his partner and lover, who records the natural world. They are said to have met purely by accident. Oschon sought refuge from a storm at Thaliak's door, and traded stories of his travels in exchange for shelter. Although Oschon set forth again the next morning, he found himself returning to Thaliak again and again, to an eager ear for the stories Oschon would bring. Eventually Thaliak offered to share his bed and home, permanently, and the two gods were henceforth united, although often apart.

Llymlaen is the daughter of Thaliak and Oschon, born from the union of the knowledge Oschon brings back to Thaliak from his wanderings. From her fathers, she understands the relationship between the mountains, plains, rivers, and seas that shape the world and how the wind moves through them, giving her her role of navigator.

Oschon relies on Steorra and the night sky for guidance as he wanders. Sometimes he will walk with Balogar or Draefendi as they travel or hunt. Thaliak has mixed feelings when Oschon travels with Balogar - on the one hand, their adventures often make for good stories to take down, but Thaliak is said to fret for Oschon's safety whenever he goes out with Balogar.

Otherwise, Oschon doesn't have strong relationships with many other gods due to his transient nature, but he is on good terms with most, including many of the dark gods. While he doesn't have any particular rivals or mutual enmities, Maglubiyet and Yeenoghu often put him in danger most often according to legends, when he wanders into the path of their bloodlust.

The Order of the Cobalt Soul is a monk order dedicated to Thaliak and Oschon.
