Don't worry about it!

Personality and Appearance

He enjoys lying about most anything, whether for strategic purposes or just for sport. He doesn't think people (including his fellow adventurers) need to know specific details about his motives or family, but generally doesn't take great pains to hide the fact that he's a warlock or extraplanar.

Nergil is of an average height and build for a tiefling, with red skin and horns that bend backward close to his head and curve slightly out. He wears his hair swept back in a shaggy cut. (He takes better care of it ever since finding a TOTALLY HAUNTED hairbrush.) He has somewhat eccentric taste in fashion, preferring dark clothes, unnecessarily deep V-necks and too many accessories. Currently his most prized possession is his Cloak of Many Fashions, which he frequently changes to suit his mood. He is on Team Horns-Tail-Boots. There is usually at least one unexplained and impractical buckle somewhere on his attire.

Family

He is the child of Zaadel, demon of Anomalous Favors, Flaming Eyesores, and Shivers. His last name "Hirsig" comes from his mother, whom he doesn't really know. He has no full siblings, but he's unsure of how many half-siblings he has. (He would just say "a lot?" if asked.) He knows some siblings better than others, generally based on their relative ages and how often business for their father kept them in the same area. He is fond of his slightly dim but enthusiastic older brother Damien and tolerates his combative younger sister Dessi.

Nergil's Not Particularly Mysterious Backstory

Early Life

Nergil Hirsig grew up in a city in Phlegethos, fourth layer of the Nine Hells. He was raised in the household of his father, an ambitious demon who plans seem to focus in part on spreading his influence by creating as many loyal children as possible. Nergil spent his teen years perfecting the art of lying and other charlatan arts, as taught by various associates of his father
