Alephan
Alephan is the god of knowledge and magic. He governs scholars, sages, and historians, and offers learning to those in a position of leadership, especially the nobility. His epithets include the Scholar-King and the Lord of Learning.
Alephan's parents are Dohter and Dreisang, and his sister is Sealtigce. His sons with Nymeia are Byregot and Bifelgan, and Nald and Thal are his grand-children. Sealtige's four daughters, Ascima, Menphina, Draefendi, and Nophica are his nieces.
His relationship with Nymeia is unclear. While they have children together, neither god appears to have any commitment to the other. However, he is bitter rivals with Nymeia's son, Balogar. Balogar's romance with Sealtige irks him, although the reason is only speculated - perhaps it is Balogar's natural facility with magic or his light-hearted personality that bothers the more serious Alephan.
Thaliak is Alephan's student.
